4.Types of data processed and cookies
During their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures which operate this website acquire some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols. These are data relating to the web traffic, and as such cannot be immediately associated with the user, but via processing or association with data held by third parties could allow the user to be identified (e.g. IP address, the domain name of the computer the user accesses the site with, or other parameters relating to the user’s operating system or IT environment, etc.).
These data are used only for anonymous statistical purposes relating to the use of the website or to check that it is working correctly. The data could be utilized in order to ascertain liability in the event of computer crimes against the website: these represent full and incontrovertible proof of the facts and actions performed by the user towards the publisher, the data controller and/or third parties.
These data are classified as strictly private, and can be supplied and/or exhibited exclusively upon request of the parties expressly indicated by law. The Data Controller implements all technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee this privacy. The data are held by the Data Controller for the time strictly necessary, and in any case in conformity with applicable legislation. After this time has elapsed, the data will be deleted and it may no longer be possible to obtain a copy of them.
Data contributed voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of data while browsing/interacting with this site leads to their subsequent acquisition (see point 2 above).
Cookies are small text files sent by the server on which this website runs and stored on the user’s hard drive during navigation; they are responsible for various functions, such as storing the data of the language selected, gathering statistical information on page views, identifying the device and browser used, selecting content, targeted marketing according to user preferences, and more besides. They are then sent back to the web server upon subsequent visits to the website by the same user.
These cookies may be of various types, depending on the type of data they store and how long they remain on the user’s device.
The cookies used by this site are exclusively “technical” cookies, in other words:
- “navigation” or “session” cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing login to restricted areas, for instance), and ensure it is not necessary to use other data processing techniques which could potentially compromise the navigation privacy levels for users, and which do not allow the acquisition of personal data which could identify the user;
• “Analytical” cookies, set by the publisher or by third parties, which gather information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they access and use the site.
• “Function” cookies, which allow user navigation on the basis of a series of selected criteria (for example, language) in order to improve the service provided
This site uses “technical” cookies to guarantee and facilitate navigation and use of the website and to gather information, in aggregate form, of site visits.
“Profiling” cookies, used to create user profiles and subsequently to send advertising messages in accordance with the preferences expressed by the user within the site, are not used.
Prior user consent is not required for setting “technical” cookies only. Users can always deactivate cookies in their browser settings, however this may slow or even prevent access to sections of the site or the site in its entirety.
For further information, see the Cookies Policy
5.Data processing methods
Processing of personal data is performed using logic strictly related to the above-indicated purposes, and in such a way as to ensure the security and privacy of the data, by parties specifically nominated as users in charge of the processing and/or Data Processors by the Data Controller.
Users’ personal data are kept only for the time necessary to ensure correct performance of the services requested, as offered by the website (described in point 2.1.a) above).
In the case of processing for marketing purposes agreed to by the user (per points 2.1.b) and 2.1.c) above), the personal data are kept in specific databases operated by the Data Controller for a time consistent with the purposes of the processing, and in all cases for no more than 2 years, following which the Data Controller guarantees that they will be automatically deleted, also by any third parties to whom they may have been communicated.
For the purposes of possible employment by the Data Controller (as per point 2.2 above), personal data are stored in specific databases owned by the Data Controller, even if the selection and assessment do not lead to a contract, for a maximum period consistent with the Data Controller’s recruitment needs and in all cases for no more than 3 years.
All information gathered will be stored and kept in secure structures which limit access only to specifically authorised personnel. The services are constantly maintained to check for any security violations and to ensure that all information gathered is safe from intrusion by third parties with the goal of accessing the data in an unauthorised fashion.
The Data Controller complies with all security measures laid out by EU and Italian legislation, and adopts all suitable measures according to criteria currently at the cutting edge in order to ensure and guarantee the privacy of the users’ personal information and minimise, as far as possible, the risks represented by unauthorised access, removal, loss or damage to such user data.

Subjects receiving such communications shall, in any case, be specifically nominated as users in charge of the processing and/or Data Processors by the Data Controller.
The user data are not subject to dissemination in any way (in other words communication to an undetermined number of other parties).
8.Rights of the user
Users are able to exercise a whole series of rights.
First of all, they are able to obtain information from the Data Controller regarding the origin of their personal data and the purposes for which they are processed, to which recipients or categories of recipients their data have been or will be disclosed, and the storage period or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to decide this.
